What a month we have had leading into the last four weeks before the RED WAVE.

During September, we had our monthly GC GOP Breakfast and Happy Hour, both of which were very well attended with new members, loyal supporters and many of our local, county and federal candidates. The support of our County Republicans and followers extended beyond the networking events to all our followers on social media which have increased in number every day. Our September momentum culminated in an outstanding turnout for the first Annual Chairwoman’s Reception held at Adelphia’s restaurant in Deptford. I would like to thank all who attended and those of you who couldn’t attend but showed your support in other ways. Those of you who support The Gloucester County GOP every day with a message or a “like” – your support confirms something many of us knew all along —the Republican Party is alive and well in Gloucester County. We are excited that you are engaged, hopeful, and energetic about our future and the future of government in New Jersey! For those of you who couldn’t make the Chairwoman’s Reception, it was a sold-out event and we were honored to have attendees who flew in from Florida and drove down from Burlington County because they wanted to see for themselves what the “buzz is” in Gloucester County. We also had many local Republicans who had not attended a GOP event in years. Bob Hugin was an honored guest speaker, as was Lynda Puglighyi, NJGOP Vice Chair. Bob Hugin is a great candidate and the Gloucester County GOP is proud to support him. Along with Bob, we were pleased to have CD1 Candidate Paul Dilks and CD2 Candidate Seth Grossman share the evening with us. We also had many of our County and Municipal Candidates in attendance.

What a great kickoff to October. Your Gloucester County Executive Committee has been busy attending events across the County for local candidates from Monroe to East Greenwich, Woodbury to Elk.  We love meeting the candidates and their supporters.  I was invited to attend a meeting at Rowan University with its Young Republican Club. What a great energetic group of young voters. We look forward working with this group to grow our party in Gloucester County.

We co-hosted our first ever quad county event with Cape May County, Salem County and Cumberland County with guest speaker Bob Hugin on the Sparacio Farm in Rosehayn.  We had a great turnout and the enthusiasm for this event was incredible.  We were honored to have CD1 Candidate Paul Dilks there as well as many other local candidates from the 4 counties.

As we close out October and head into the midterms there are several initiatives we have to help our candidates Get Out the Vote and to support them on Election Day.  The GC GOP has invested in a phone system for GOTV phone banking. Four nights of the week we have volunteers phone banking for state, federal and local candidates. Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 9:00 and from 11-1 on Saturday.  The more the merrier so please consider joining us.  We also have appointed 24 county wide at large challengers who will be available on election day as well as attorney challengers, who are being trained to serve in that role.

We are looking forward to working together to get our local candidates elected and invite all candidates and supporters to join The Gloucester County GOP at our Election Night Party to watch and celebrate election results at the Italian Affair from 7:30 to 11PM. Free Food/cash bar.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You appear to grasp so much approximately this,
such as you wrote the book in it or something.

I feel that you could do with some percent to force the message house a little bit,
but instead of that, that is magnificent blog. An excellent read.
    I will certainly be back.
