I am Lisa Ann Rotte, wife of Colonel (Ret) Randy Rotte, Jr. whom I have been married to for 33 years. Randy and I spent 26 years in the Army. Randy was a combat helicopter pilot with 2 deployments to the Middle East and a 1 year hardship tour to Korea. After he retired in July of 2011 he started working for Boeing in Washington DC then 3 years later Boeing relocated Randy to Ridley Park, PA. My husband and I moved 13 times during his time on Active Duty with the Army.
I am the mother of 3 exceptional children. R.T, married to Nichole, who is an Infantry Office currently stationed in Ft Lewis Washington. Both R.T. and Nichole are graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. My daughter Maryssa, married to Jordan, is a graduate of CNU (undergraduate) and Colchester University Essex England (Masters). My youngest child, Helena, works at Salus University in her major of Kinesiology from James Madison University. I have two Grandsons Andy and James.
Randy and I met so soon after I started college and then decided to marry right after he graduated from USMA in 1985. I chose to forego a career as well as finishing my college degree to work different types of jobs everywhere we were assigned to support Randy, his career, and be there for our three children. Therefore, I have a very diverse employment background. I have spent most of my 33 years working in Education. My jobs included being a Daycare Provider, Preschool Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and Para Professional for the Visually impaired. I spent many years as an Office Administrator for First Command Financial Planning, the Wounded Warrior MedCell as a Government Contractor, and for Sun Travel UTEP’s Primary Travel Agency. The year before Randy and I married I worked for Lowes Hotels in NYC and was privileged to meet, now, President Trump.
Besides holding down full time jobs and raising three children, much of the time alone, I was also very active in my community and church volunteering. I have taught Religious Education in the Catholic Faith for 24 years consecutively, volunteered in Thrift Shops, Volunteered for the USO at 4 different locations as well as the American Red Cross Volunteer Station Manager, Volunteer Coordinator and Blood Drive Coordinator. I have been the Family Readiness Group Leader and Advisor for 20 years and was an instructor for Army Family Team Building. I have been on the PTSA and PTO, Room Mom for all my children and finally a Hospice Volunteer.
I have always been very active in Politics. I helped on all the campaigns from President Reagan until President Trump. I have always volunteered at the polls and at times been a volunteer inside the polls as a poll worker or challenger. I am a die-hard Conservative and I live the values of the Party and my Catholic Faith.
I feel very privileged to hold the position of Secretary for the Gloucester County GOP, volunteer for Hospice at the Samaritan Thrift Shop, Pre-Cana and Medial volunteer for my church, and a member of the Harrison Township Rotary Club.
